Ingrowing Hair Infections

Ingrown hair is a very common problem for men and women.Men get ingrown hairs the most as they regularly shave their face.Frequent shaving can produce thick hair on the face. Shaving can also leave the hairs with sharp ends. These can then curl and push back into the skin.  The result is a painful boil-like infection.  You can tell the difference between a simple pimple and an ingrown hair as if you look closely, you will see a hair under the skin.

You do not need to go to a doctor for a small ingrown hair infection. First, your hands need washed.Fill the sink with hot water and get a clean cloth. Dip it in the water. Place it on the infected area.  This will reduce the infection and thin out the skin.The hair can be removed when the hair can be seen through the popped skin.then clean your face with a gentle soap and water.Make sure it is all clean.

Razor bumps, shaving rash and ingrown hairs can all be improved with existing products.  I particularly like Tend Skin and Biotherm Homme.

Women can also get ingrown hairs of course if they shave their legs and bikini areas.  The treatment and approach is the same.

Afro type hair can be the worst offender for producing ingrown hairs because of the tight curls.  Once these hairs

have been cut and have a sharp point as soon as they grow, they curl.The hair then pushes its way straight back into the face again.For the poor guy with the beard, they continue to grow inwards into the skin.

It is important to remember that ingrown hairs do not appear due to poor hygiene.Ensure your hands are alwasy clean when you touch your face or it will worsen.
